Appointments help us keep things running smoothly. Just text us at 510-900-9004 or email whatsup@popstireshop.com, and we’ll help you order your tires and set up your appointment.

We accept same-day walk-ins for customers bringing their own tires or needing an emergency patch repair.

Out of respect for our customers with busy schedules, we want to make sure that people commit to their appointments, especially when it's track season.

Our deposit is nonrefundable, but we’re happy to help you reschedule your appointment as long as we receive at least 24 hours’ notice.

Our standard mount is $30 per tire, stretching tires or off-road tires are $40 per wheel, balancing is $10 per wheel, and tire disposal is $4 per tire.

We have access to nearly all major tire brands, with the exception of Nankang.

Is this a serious question? Of course we do! Lifted trucks or lower cars are cool — cool builds are always welcome at our shop.

It depends, but most tire jobs take about 1 to 1.5 hours.

Yep, you can definitely buy your own tires and just pay for the installation. If it’s easier, you can have them shipped straight to our shop—just give us a heads-up so we know to expect them

We ask for a deposit on tire purchases to lock in your order. This helps cover any restocking fees and makes sure everyone’s committed—kind of like having a little skin in the game

No worries, we understand, sh*t happens. Just give us at least 12 hours’ notice, and we’ll happily reschedule for a time that works better for you. We understand that life happens! Your deposit will be kept and applied to your new appointment

It depends on the situation, but we do offer a manufacturer warranty. Keep in mind that it can take some time to process, but we’ll do our best to make it as painless as possible so you and your car can get back on the road quickly

Some manufacturers do offer a warranty on new tires, but it's a case by case basis. Yes we do recommend that you rotate your tire so that we have the best chance to prove to the manufacturer you were on top of tire maintenance and that the warranty can be honored.

Hell, yes, just send us a link to the tires and the price you found online. Keep in mind, we might not be able to beat Walmart or Costco, but we’ll do our best to give you a great deal.

We encourage you to hang out in the shop while your work is being done—you’re welcome to watch the process if you like. Or, if you just want to chill and enjoy the vibes, bring a laptop and take advantage of our free Wi-Fi.

Yes, we do reuse tire sensors but if you come in with the car with a tire sensor light already on, we encourage you to replace them with OEM units. The aftermarket ones don't often play nice.

No, we don’t offer free rotations, balances, or flat repairs after purchase.

As a rule of thumb, it’s best to wait about two weeks, since the Bay Area isn’t hot enough to fully ‘bake’ the paint. Please let us know if your wheels have been refinished before booking your tire appointment

Alignment Department

We recommend booking an appointment online so we can give you dedicated time and avoid long waits. We do take walk-ins, but you might have to wait a bit if we’re busy, and we want to respect your time

Of course we do. For the lower guys and gals, we have extended ramps on our alignment rack.

Our machine has a capacity of 12,000 pounds.

It depends on what you're getting done but our standard factory alignment starts at $125 and usually takes about an hour.

Sorry to hear that! Let’s get you back in as soon as possible to get that wheel straight. We warranty our work for one month, so if the car still doesn’t drive straight after the second visit, we’ll need to check your suspension parts to make sure they’re not worn. If you have any issues, reach us by phone, email, or through our website

Yes, we do sell wheels! We’re a Rays dealer, and we also have access to anything you see on Tire Rack. If you find something online, just send us the part number, and we’ll check with our distributors to see if we can get it for you
